The data highlight the fact that one thousand eight hundred eighty-eight (1888) US Based Funders were responsible for twenty-two billion, seven hundred fifty-six million, seven hundred ninety thousand, six hundred ten dollars ($22,756,790,610. 00) of funding to the region between 2015 and 2021.
The data list a total of twenty-six Caribbean countries that received funding over the period with Puerto Rico & Bahamas receiving the highest amount of funding with US$13.89B & US$2.76B respectively.
Curacao with US$1 Million & Suriname with US$228,000 received the lowest amounts over the period.
The average funding amount was three million, six hundred thirteen thousand, three hundred thirty-six dollars and eight cents (US$3,613,336.08).
Similar to the first visualization, this dashboard shows the distribution of funding to various countries but specifically excludes Puerto Rico from the data set. This allows for a comparative analysis of funding distribution without the influence of Puerto Rico's data, offering a different perspective on the allocation.
Without the US$13.89 billion of funding to Puerto Rico, this visualization shows that the rest of the region shares a total of US$8,863,846,255. The average funding amount in this instance has also been reduced to US$1,709,187.48.
It should also be noted that the number of funders was reduced by three hundred and two (302), from one thousand eight hundred eighty-eight 1888 to one thousand five hundred eighty-six (1586).
